What is GriefShare?
Support for the grief journey at your own pace.
GriefShare is a structured support group designed for people grieving the death of a loved one. It creates space for honest conversations, practical wisdom, and spiritual encouragement in the middle of loss.
As Church of Philadelphia prepares to launch this Help & Care ministry, we want to make room for people who need gentle support, a compassionate community, and a place to process grief without pretending they are fine.
This first group will be online, making it easier to participate from home while still being meaningfully connected to others.

Will the group be online or in person? +
Our first GriefShare group is planned as an online experience so people can join from wherever they are with as little friction as possible.
Who is GriefShare for? +
GriefShare is for anyone grieving the death of a loved one. Whether your loss is recent or something you have been carrying for a while, this group is meant to offer support, understanding, and hope.
Do I need to be a member of Church of Philadelphia to participate? +
No. This Help & Care service is intended to be welcoming to our broader community as well as our church family.
What will happen after I join the interest list? +
We will follow up with launch details, scheduling information, and the next steps for joining the group once the online cohort is ready.
Will there be a cost? +
We will share any material or participant-guide details once the group is formally scheduled. Joining the interest list is free.
